Cornerstone Open Studios

An evening celebrating South London’s creative community. Experience fine art, photography, design, wellness and more, as Cornerstone Studios opens its doors for an exclusive peek behind the curtain.

Set within a Grade II listed building on the edge of Burgess Park, the event brings together an exciting line-up of resident artists and makers. Alongside open studios, exhibitions and live demonstrations, the evening will feature the opening night of Every second that I'm alive by Joanna Jones, hosted by Studio 12. Visitors are invited to explore, connect, and encounter the diverse practices shaping contemporary culture.

Studio 12 | An art space that hosts. Rooted in transnational solidarities, it’s a place to make magic, to dance, to sing, to dream, to grieve, to shout, to breathe fire. For Open Studios, they are presenting Every second that I'm alive by Joanna Jones, a multidisciplinary exhibition featuring some of the first paintings she made with her whole body, alongside new work on glass and a sound score of voicenotes she recorded following a diagnosis that impeded her ability to paint.

Paul Fuentes Design | Known for surreal photography that blends sleek cars, exotic animals and dreamlike scenes, Paul Fuentes opens his studio for an intimate view of his process. Prints and special samples will also be available to take home.

Otto Framing | A bespoke framing studio specialising in contemporary and sustainable design. Otto Framing’s practice combines craftsmanship with innovation, offering frames that elevate and protect artworks.

Cherry Bomb Nails | A premium salon offering creative nail art and tooth gems. For one night only, visitors can experience express tooth gem applications and explore the vibrant, trend-led designs of Cherry Bomb.

GB Animation | A multidisciplinary studio with roots in stop-motion, now spanning film, photography and animation. At Open Studios, they will be screening their showreel and showcasing the tools and props that bring their projects to life.

Emily Alice North | A fine artist working across painting, drawing and mixed media. Emily invites visitors into her studio to explore recent works centred on memory, place and belonging.

Elephant Design Lab | A playful design studio using 3D printing and digital fabrication to create toys, accessories and collectible objects. Expect live demonstrations and new multi-material designs.

Cobh Studios | A private salon led by celebrity colourist Andrew Thomas Jones. Visitors can experience Cornerstone’s most discreet beauty space and view work from one of the UK’s leading colourists.

Contemporary Reflection Art Studio | Stefan and Antonio Pilade showcase a joint practice spanning film photography and painting, reflecting on contemporary life through analogue and traditional media.

Design Wolf | A branding and design studio specialising in storytelling-led identity work. For Open Studios, they will present large-scale visuals from recent projects, with free keepsakes for visitors to take away.
