Welcome to the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Biological Recorders Conference 2024!

Trends in Wildlife Recording

Join us at the University of Exeter, Penryn Campus for a day devoted to celebrating the wildlife recording that goes on in Cornwall. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned expert, this event is perfect for anyone passionate about making wildlife observations throughout the county. Network with fellow enthusiasts, attend workshops, and learn about the latest projects.

This year, we will be focusing on Trends in Wildlife Recording. We will include topics looking at recent changes in recording methods, including the increasing popularity of structured monitoring, while balancing this against the value of traditional recording techniques. Some of our confirmed speakers include Chelonia Ltd, Cornwall Mammal Group and the University of Exeter.

Lunch and refreshments are included in the price for those attending in person, with a selection of meat, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free choices. We also have the option of attending remotely if you are unable to get to Penryn.

There will be ample free parking available on the campus.

There's plenty to be discussed, so please bring along your own views, opinions and questions.

See you there!

In association with the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Federation for Biological Recorders (CiSFBR).

Sponsored by Spalding Associates and Wildcare.
