Event description
Learning about 'How to Crowdfund' and the extra funding opportunities available in Cornwall. This is an online workshop.

About this event

Interested in finding out more about crowdfunding?

The Crowdfunder team will be running a 30 minute webinar in aid of Crowdfund Cornwall. This will be an introductory session suitable for anyone who wants to find out more about this method of fundraising, the potential uses for local projects in Cornwall and the extra funding that's available through the Council.

The workshop will be in the format of a live, interactive webinar, hosted by a Crowdfunder coach. Content will be relevant to Cornwall, and participants will be able to ask questions via an online chat facility.

While the main content for the workshop will be covered in 30 minutes, we will make time available at the end for an extended Q&A.

Live + Learn

A webcam and microphone are not required to join this live workshop. A link will then be issued to each participant to access a short online training course, in their own time, to learn more about how to run a successful crowdfunding project.

If you're not able to come to this virtual event, Crowdfunder may still be able to support you. Please get in touch via the 'Contact' button at the bottom of the page.

Organiser Crowdfund Cornwall

Organiser of Cornwall Council LIVE + Learn: How to Crowdfund

Cornwall Council is looking to support not-for-profit organisations working with local communities in Cornwall.

We want to inspire individuals, community groups, charities and businesses to grow local projects and enhance nature with extra funding

Do you have a seed of an idea that could help create more space for nature within your community? Then check out our Grow Nature Seed Fund and you could be one step closer to helping nature grow. We are also encouraging applicants to branch out and make a simple application to support local tree and hedgerow planting on public land.

Plus your county councillors are supporting ‘not for profit’ organisations working to enrich and engage local communities with grants from the Community Chest Fund.

And for projects working to increase community resilience within local communities and help to support vulnerable people, Devon and Cornwall Police are supporting projects with the Community Resilience Fund.
