Event description
The International Network of Universities is a global consortium of 10 member universities, delivering workshops for its students and staff.

About this event

More than a year into the pandemic, teachers seem to have left their state of emergency, have accepted the current situation and most importantly increased their knowledge and competence about digitalized teaching. From a current point of view, physical and virtual spaces are expected to merge and lead to hybrid teaching and learning environment in post-pandemic higher education settings.

In this session we will discuss the ongoing transformative and dynamic shifts in university teachers’ professional activity and how we can improve our understanding of post-pandemic hybrid teaching and learning environments.

The workshop will focus around the research project carried out at Malmö University, ‘The Corona Crash Course: Covid-19 and digitalisation, implications for higher education teaching and learning’. It provides the opportunity for faculty from INU member universities around the world to exchange views and reflections on how this digital transformation affects their professional development.

Speakers

This session is being led by Natalia Auer, PhD, Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Education & Society, Malmö University and Marie Leijon, PhD, Associate Professor, Faculty of Education & Society, Malmö University.
