About this event

Legislation & Regulation what you need to know: The Importance of Due Diligence & IP Considerations

In the final session of our three-part online series on the regulatory framework for charity-corporate fundraising, we turn our focus to the practical and governance safeguards charities should have in place when forming corporate partnerships.

This session will explore the importance of due diligence - what to ask, what to look out for, and how to mitigate risk. We'll also delve into branding and intellectual property (IP) considerations, including how to protect your charity’s name and reputation. Finally, we’ll address what can go wrong: from misaligned values to poorly tracked deliverables, this session will offer practical insights on avoiding common pitfalls.

======

This session will be co-presented with Emma Millar, Legal Director at Broadfield Law covering the legal and governance matters and Get Synergised’s founder, Rachel Hales, talking through her extensive experience in helping non-profits successfully engage with corporate partners and develop sustainable and productive relationships.

======

This session is tailored for leaders in the realm of corporate partnerships and nonprofit fundraising dedicated to representing registered charities and social enterprises. It is exclusively curated for members of the With Purpose Network, offering valuable content and support to empower you to fortify your mission and nurture genuine and successful corporate partnerships.

We do encourage and welcome non-members to attend; however, there will be a fee for those who wish to access this vital and necessary information.
