Corporate Fundraising for Small Charities

Corporate fundraising can at times be challenging for smaller organisations. This workshop will look at all the different aspects involved in corporate fundraising and how to approach companies effectively. 

This workshop will cover:

  • What corporate fundraising is.
  • How to approach companies effectively.
  • The difference between corporate donation and corporate sponsorship.
  • Is corporate fundraising right for your organisation?
  • What does your organisation need to become sponsorship ready?


This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some corporate fundraising experience who wish to further improve and build on their knowledge particularly with regards to sponsorship.

Materials needed (optional)
It would help to research into a particular company you are interested in approaching so we can make some of the individual/group exercises more tailored.

Trainer Bio: Layla Moosavi
With 20 years fundraising and sponsorship experience in the charitable sector and the arts, Layla has experience fundraising within both large and smaller organisations.

She is aware of the fundraising strengths and opportunities large and small organisations carry with them; as well as the challenges they may face.
She uses her varied experience to train and mentor charities, arts organisations, individual fundraisers to be as effective as they can be with their fundraising and sponsorship, and further build on their existing strengths and confidence.

Layla believes the first step to effective fundraising is finding out what that involves and what is right for your organisation at this point in time.


Booking:

You must be a member of Small Charities Coalition in order to attend this workshop. If you aren't already you can register for free here.

Waitlist:
If the places have all been filled please do add your details to the waitlist and we will let you know as soon as a place becomes available.

Cancellations and Refunds:
If you cancel your place at least 2 full working days before the event takes place then you are entitled to a full refund by request. Refunds for cancellations after this point are given at the discretion of Small Charities Coalition.
If you cannot make a workshop please advise us as soon as possible. Workshops normally have a waitlist and if you notify us early enough then there's a good chance another charity can attend in your place.
