An Example Day Schedule:

Morning: Resilience/Nature Connection/Stress awareness or Compassion workshop

After a welcome coffee or tea we’ll dive into a jam-packed workshop that explores how connecting with nature can boost your health, mood and overall well-being - and we'll unpack the science behind forest bathing !

Each workshop contains interactive exercises designed to engage and inform. Expect interactive sessions where you’ll feel inspired and empowered 🌿

An Afternoon Forest Bathing session:

After lunch (catering can be arranged), we’ll head outdoors for a guided forest bathing session. But this isn’t just about slowing down, although that is a big part of forest bathing. It’s about learning to tune into our surroundings in a deeper more connected way. We’ll practice noticing natural details, finding joy in the small things and soothing our nervous system.

We intuitively know that spending time in nature is good for us, but either we don’t make time or aren’t sure how to really connect with it. At this session, you’ll not only explore why urban nature has such a powerful impact on our well-being, but you'll leave with practical ways to truly benefit from it.

Forest Bathing is the Japanese practice of Shinrin Yoku and simply involves a slow guided walk through nature using your senses to engage and notice details you would otherwise miss.

The MHA Wilderness Garden is a hidden gem: A private, wild space surrounded by trees. Nestled within the garden is our cosy wooden hub, where you’ll feel instantly relaxed by the rustic and peaceful atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and reconnect.

Private parking on-site 🚗

Bring warm layers and waterproofs if wet as we spend time outdoors.

Spend the day connecting with your peers for an experience you won't forget🌸

Frequently asked questions

What should we wear?

Warm clothing is recommended as we walk slowly outdoors. You are welcome to bring an umbrella and waterproofs as we do go out in the rain.

What are the timings of events?

Timings of each event depend on what you book. A forest bathing walk can be run on a weekend or mid week (privately) or it can be run during weekdays when others have access to the gardens - although the space is privately run and very quiet.
