Correctly Calculating Holiday Pay: The New World Order
Thursday, 13 November 2014 from 09:30 to 10:15
On 4 November 2014 the Employment Appeal Tribunal gave its eagerly awaited decision in the cases of Bear Scotland Ltd & Ors v Fuller & Ors; Hertel (UK) Ltd v Woods & Ors and Amec Group Ltd v Law & Ors.
You can read our article about the decision on our hrlegalnews pages.
Employers should make no mistake that this decision is very important. Just how important the case is is evidenced by the fact that #holidaypay was trending at or about number 5 on Twitter on 4 November and you simply couldn’t escape it in the media.
During the webinar, Julie Temple, will briefly review the details of the decision before turning to the important, practical issues of what the decision means for employers. Questions will be answered such as:
- When should we start recalculating holiday pay?
- How do we calculate holiday pay?
- What about commission? and
- What do we do about back pay?
If your organisation is regularly making payments to employees and workers in addition to basic salary this webinar is a must attend for you.
We have scheduled the webinar close to the beginning of the day so that it does not interfere too much. We will also keep it short. The presentation will last no more than 30 minutes, with a further 15 minutes allowed at the end for your questions.
Tickets are just £15 plus VAT (and a small booking fee). Can you afford not to attend?
Spaces are limited to just 25 so do not delay booking your place. If you are not available to listen live book your place anyway. The webinar will be recorded and you will be able to access the recording and slides via the webinar’s 'meeting space'. You can then listen to the recording at a time to suit you.
The closing date for bookings is Wednesday 12 November 2014 at 9.30am. This enables us to get the necessary log in details to you by email well in advance and so you can make sure your technology is updated for a smooth webinar experience.
