Cosford Spitfire 10K
Sun, September 3, 2017, 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM BST
You have come through to the Cosford event page so all information relates to the event on 3rd September 2016. For more information about the London Spitfire 10K please view our website.
Commemorate the Battle of Britain in style, starting and finishing in the magnificent surroundings of the RAF Museum Cosford. The race begins in the shadow of the Spitfire in Hangar One before taking you outside and onto the RAF Cosford airfield! During this flat course you will get to run up and down the iconic runway, past the RAF Deployed Operational Training Area (DOTA) and past the impressive VC10 and Hercules. Don't forget to duck down as you pass our live firing range!
At the end of the race you will be awarded with an exclusive 2017 Spitfire 10K medal. We will also have commemorative running t-shirts available to purchase in advance or on race day.
Please note that access onto the Airfield and runway are for runners only, spectators will not be able to gain access into this area.
