Event description

Description

We are pleased to invite you to a short workshop about our new Cost-Effectiveness of Loneliness Intervention tool created by health economists at the London School of Economics.

The tool supports the work of service providers or those fundraising to provide loneliness interventions and commissioner’s/funders who would like to calculate and demonstrate the cost-effectiveness of an intervention.

Those attending this workshop will get to meet like-minded practitioners, gain a greater understanding of the wider value of their services and have a role in shaping the usability of this instrument and feeding back on it in development.

The workshop is facilitated by David McDaid, Associate Professorial Research Fellow in Health Policy and Health Economics at the Personal Social Services Research Unit at the London School of Economics and Political Science. David is involved in a wide range of work on mental health and public health in the UK, Europe and at the global level.

A light lunch and refreshments will be provided
