Escape the day to day and join us for a day of adventure and exploration in the picturesque Cotswolds. Lace up your hiking boots and get ready to trek through stunning countryside and quaint villages. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or just looking for a great day out, this event is perfect for all levels of experience. Walk, relax and chat.
Don't forget to pack a picnic and plenty of water to keep you fueled along the way. A pub stop at the 8 Bells also optional for lunch
One-Day Hike + Drive Back to Cambridge
Route: Broadway to Chipping Campden Circular via the Cotswold Way
Distance: ~10 miles (16 km)
Time: 5–6 hours walking
Highlights: Broadway Tower, panoramic views, charming villages, Cotswold stone cottages
Route Details:
Start/End: Broadway (plenty of parking)
Trail: Cotswold Way to Broadway Tower → Chipping Campden → return via a lower valley path or loop back along Cotswold Way
Lunch: Picnic at Broadway Tower or pub in Chipping Campden (e.g., The Eight Bells)
Drive from Cambridge to Broadway: ~2.5 hrs
Return home same day: Finish hike by ~4pm, back in Cambridge by ~7pm
Car sharing and logistics will be sorted before the day
