Cotswolds Edition: Broadway Tower Trail
Overview
Discover one of the Cotswolds’ most iconic viewpoints with a gentle, story-filled wander through art, heritage, and timeless countryside charm.
The Broadway Tower Heritage Trail begins in the heart of Broadway village, a place of honey-stone cottages, artisan shops, and the historic Lygon Arms — a centuries-old coaching inn that’s welcomed travellers since the 1300s. After a short village stroll, we’ll visit the Broadway Museum and Art Gallery, home to local history and creative treasures that paint the story of this remarkable town.
From there, we take a gentle climb up to Broadway Tower, a fairytale folly standing proudly on the Cotswold ridge. Along the way, you’ll enjoy open meadows, sweeping views, and peaceful rest spots. At the summit, we’ll explore the tower’s heritage displays and take time to soak in the panoramic beauty — on a clear day, you can see up to 16 counties!
We’ll return to Broadway for a relaxed coffee or afternoon tea at the Lygon Arms, rounding off the trail in true Town Trails style — calm, connected, and full of local flavour.
