Could you spot a loan shark?

What would your organisation do if a service user stated they owed money to a loan shark? Could you support them? Would you know how to refer them? Has your organisation a policy in place to help?

We are working with Thrive Together to ensure that those offering warm spaces can help and refer anyone who may be in distress from a loan shark. Training staff is a simple way of ensuring that should anyone make a disclosure they are equipped to spot the signs of loan sharking and more importantly know that it is a crime and how to refer the service user on to Illegal Money Lending Team.

The session takes approximately 40 minutes and there will be time for questions (so 1 hour max)
