About this Event

*Sold out* - no tickets on the door but get in touch in case of any returns.

We are very excited to be back at the Star of Kings. We hope to be out of our socially distanced set-up by July 8, in line with the current roadmap but for now we are selling tickets in this setup, until we have confirmation otherwise. We are joined by this fantastic line-up:

IVO GRAHAM (Live at the Apollo; Have I Got News For You; 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown; Mock the Week; Hypothetical; The Stand Up Sketch Show; Roast Battle; Guessable; Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Show nominee 2019) - "Irresistibly funny" - Telegraph; "Hilarious" - Times

SINDHU VEE (Live at the Apollo; Have I Got News For You; QI; Mock the Week; Would I Lie to You?; Hypothetical; Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer nominee 2018) - “Refreshing, clever stuff” - Evening Standard; “She effortlessly manages to be simultaneously waspish yet instantly very likeable” - Chortle

FLO & JOAN (Live at the Apollo; The Russell Howard Hour; Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club; Horrible Histories; Rob Delaney’s Stand Up Central) - “Musical comedy hasn’t been in such safe hands for years” - List; “These intricately crafted, flawlessly performed numbers will have you howling with laughter one minute, wiping away a tear the next” - Telegraph

STEPHEN BAILEY (Live at the Apollo; The Stand Up Sketch Show; Roast Battle; Hey Tracey!; Comedy Central At The Comedy Store; Celebability) - "A superstar in the making" - British Comedy Guide; "An arch-bitch with a winning smile, everyone's favourite gay best friend... confident, funny & suitably rude" - Reviews Hub

THANYIA MOORE [MC] (Mock the Week; BAMOUS; Comedy Central At The Edinburgh Fringe; Funny Festival Live; Funny Women Award winner 2017) - “Thanyia Moore has come on to the stand up circuit with a style, hilarious wit, brutal honesty and flair that has made her infamous!” - Dane Baptiste

STEVIE MARTIN (The Emily Atack Show; Comedians Giving Lectures; Russell Howard’s Good News; Breeders; Damned; @elevenish) - "In complete command of the audience… tremendous" - Ed Fest Mag; "Funny AF" - Time Out

SHELF (Funny Women Awards finalists 2019; As seen on BBC3) - “Cool and relevant” - Skinny; "Everything they do is organic and fresh" - The Daily Info

JEN IVES (Funny Women Awards finalist 2019; Leicester Mercury Comedian Of The Year nominee 2019; 2Northdown New Comedian Competition finalist 2019) - "A stellar new talent" - Reviews Hub; "Easy-going and gregarious with a touch of self-deprecation that adds to her confidence rather than detracts from it" - Chortle

Please note the following:

We are currently preparing our future gigs in line with the Roadmap restrictions announced in February 2021 (inc. restrictions on households). We hope to be out of our socially distanced set-up by July 8, in line with the current roadmap but for now we are selling tickets in this setup, until we have confirmation otherwise. We will confirm the setup with ticket holders as soon as we know.

When buying tickets, please do not leave any empty seats - each table or section is now reserved for *maximum groups of 6 people from 2 households*. There are some single seats by the bar, but a limited number.

Last year's requirement for a substantial meal to be served alongside alcohol will not be in place, and neither will a curfew. The requirement to order, eat and drink while seated (‘table service’) will remain.

ARRIVE AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE

Doors open at 7:30PM for a 8PM start - please arrive at the pub and take your seat downstairs as early as possible, to ensure a safe, socially distanced entry, and to reduce delays to the gig. All seats at the show have been reserved in advance to ensure social distancing, and you will be shown to your table / sofa upon arrival downstairs and presentation of your e-ticket.

FOLLOW SOCIAL DISTANCING GUIDELINES

Please follow social distancing guidelines throughout the venue - remain at least 1m apart from those not in your household group and wear your mask at all times.

As it is no longer possible to queue and order at the bar, you will need to scan the QR code on your table upon arrival, to sign it to Track & Trace, and order food and drinks to your table, either online or through the pub's app. You no longer need to order a substantial meal if you are ordering & drinking alcohol.

There will be two 15 minute intervals, so you have time to order drinks online, go to the toilet or use the outside smoking area. To keep everyone safe and to comply with the regulations regarding movement in pubs, audience members will be required to otherwise stay in their seat for the performance, and during intervals.

WEAR A MASK

In line with government guidelines, all audience members will be required to bring and wear a mask/face covering during the performance. These can only be removed when eating and drinking.

Hand sanitiser will be available on the door but we suggest you also bring your own if possible.

Please note that we cannot admit individuals who are self-isolating, or anyone experiencing symptoms.

If you have any questions or concerns about the gig, please feel free to get in touch.
