FAQs

How do I find the event and where can I park?

You can see a map on the Contact & Directions page of the Country Tour Sponsored Ride's website or enter SG9 0AN into your SatNav or take the B1038 to Brent Pelham. It is a small village and the event will be clearly signed on the day. Access to the event is suitable for trailers and horse lorries and there is an enormous, level area of parkland in which to park.

How do I pay my sponsorship money to the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance?

This needs to be done on the day, so all riders must come to the Secretary's tent before starting the ride to pay their sponsorship money, minimum £5 per rider but more would be great!.

Are there minimum age requirements for a rider to enter the event?

There is no minimum age but children aged 12 and under must be accompanied throughout the ride by a responsible adult of 18 years or over. Children aged 13-16 inclusive are permitted to ride unaccompanied provided that either their parent or their guardian provides confirmation of their consent to do so. This can be provided in writing on the day.

What's the refund policy?

Entry fees are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled.

Is my entry transferrable?

Yes, if the horse or rider cannot participate, but the organisers must be informed in advance.
