County Lines Pathfinder Showcase
Event Information
About this event
A programme of work funded by the Youth Justice Board and delivered across Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire to identify emerging youth justice practice in the prevention, identification and disruption of county lines exploitation in two-tier predominantly importing counties, concludes in March 2022.
This free showcase event at Newmarket Racecourse Conference Suite will provide an opportunity for delegates to get first-hand experience of the learning and products which have been developed as part of the Pathfinder programme, and will see the launch of our new trauma-aware practitioner intervention tool for supporting those at risk of county lines exploitation.
It will showcase emerging practice and approaches which can be used to reduce the harm caused by county lines exploitation, and will additionally provide hands-on advice and guidance on best use of the free resources which have been developed, so that these can be effectively used for maximum impact in other local authority and force areas across the country.
It also provides an opportunity to hear about the work and learning of the Constructive Resettlement Pathfinder in Yorkshire.
This event will be of interest to youth justice, police and children's services staff, and other organisations and services supporting children at risk of county lines exploitation, and their caregivers.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. There is ample on-site parking, and good public transport links in Newmarket.
Spaces are limited and we advise you to book early to secure your place.
