Event description

Description

The NHS is facing the biggest crisis in its 70 year history.

Many fear this near-sacred institution will buckle under the intense pressure on its services and pressing need for extra money.

Yet some of today’s most exciting startups see another trajectory. One where public healthcare is rebuilt through the smartphone and catapulted into the future.

Courier asks whether startups can really spearhead a transformation in the country’s health service. Mahiben Maruthappu (NHS Innovation), Melissa Morris (Network Locum) and Mohammad Al-Ubaydli (Patients Know Best) present their visions and debate what a future NHS could look like.
