Course Introduction: Shorthand Speed Development
Come along to a free introduction meeting at the Pitman Training Centre in Ipswich, Suffolk. The meeting will give you the chance to find out all you need to know about the Shorthand Speed Development course and how to enrol.
What is the course about?
Once you're familiar with a shorthand system, you may need to work on your shorthand speed - which is where this course comes in. Our tried and tested methods will soon have you writing shorthand quickly - and you'll have all the respect that comes from having the Pitman name on your CV.
We use material with the widest possible content - literary, parliamentary, commercial etc - to increase in speed, dexterity and mental word-holding.
Who is the course for?
The course is for anyone wishing to increase their shorthand speed and efficiency. Ideal if you work as a PA, EA, Office Manager or Journalist.
You will need to have experience and knowledge of the Teeline Shorthand system.
What will you gain from the course?
This course is CPD accredited by The CPD Standards Office. 10 CPD points can be gained upon successful completion of each block of this course.
Once you’ve successfully completed the course, you’ll also receive a Pitman Training Certificate to confirm your newly learnt skills.
Where and when will you study?
The course can be studied at our Ipswich Centre where you will have the full support of our Course Advisors for the duration of your studies.
How long does the course take to complete?
This course is structured in 10 hour blocks.
