Come along to a free introduction meeting at the Pitman Training Centre in Ipswich, Suffolk. The meeting will give you the chance to find out all you need to know about the Working in the Legal Environment course and how to enrol.

What is the course about?

For this course we’ve collaborated with CILEx (The Chartered Institute of Legal Executives) to bring you a course which will help you gain knowledge and insight into the workings of a legal office; essential if you’re looking to secure a role as a top class Legal Secretary.

You’ll cover topics such as the different organisational structures of a legal office, the UK judicial system, how to organise resources and manage time effectively in a legal environment, the different types of correspondence and much more.

Who is the course for?

If you want to become a Legal Secretary, Legal Admin Assistant or Paralegal and understand more about the processes and procedures involved in working within a Legal office this course will give you all the skills you need.

It’s also an excellent course if you’re looking to obtain a CILEx/City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Working in the Legal Environment.

Before starting this course it would be advantageous for you to have previous experience of Microsoft Word and have also undertaken the Legal Text Processing course. 

What will you gain from the course?

This course is CPD accredited by The CPD Standards Office. 20 CPD points can be gained upon successful completion of this course.

Once you’ve successfully completed the course, you’ll receive a Pitman Training Certificate to confirm your newly learnt skills.

Where and when will you study?

The course can be studied at our Ipswich Centre where you’ll have the full support of our Course Advisors for the duration of your studies.
