Coventry Jelly is an informal co-working event where freelancers, home workers and small/micro business owners can work, chat and collaborate with other like-minded people.

Coventry Jelly is open to everyone, but we are particularly keen to encourage technical people, web designers, software developers and creative industry specialists to participate.

Come and work in a friendly atmosphere with the following all available for use free of charge to West Midlands SMEs:

  • tea and coffee (bring your own lunch)
  • wifi
  • laptops
  • video conferencing facilities
  • SME support team expertise (read more at www.warwick.ac.uk/iipsi)
  • and a wide array of other technical equipment and software

Coventry Jelly is definitely not the place to find new clients or to sell your business. Just come here and work as you would do at home!

Time: 9.00am - 5.00pm (but you can come for as long or short a time as you like)

How to find us: IIPSI is marked as Building Number 27 on the campus map here: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/about/visiting/maps/campusmap/Car Parks 8 and 15 are closest (£1.50 for less than 4 hours, £3 for 4 hours+, cash only). There is a well served bus stop within 2 minutes walk, and several bike storage racks attached to the building.

WMG's International Institute for Product and Service Innovation is a facility specifically dedicated to suporting SMEs in the West Midlands with new product and service development. Funded by the European Regional Development Fund and the University of Warwick, the building is home to the latest technology and expertise in user centred design, digital innovation and advanced polymer materials.

WMG, University of Warwick has a dedicated SME Programmes Team that links SMEs directly with the research and emerging technologies available at the new International Institute for Product and Service Innovation. WMG has a long tradition of working with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in order to help them access new technologies and become more competitive.

 Services and Expertise

The team offers a range of services including expert consultancy, workshops, technology demonstrations, access to research and development, access to funding, access to students and graduates.

We have expertise in a range of areas across digital technologies, materials, manufacturing and user focussed design. Current key themes incude: smarter social media, cloud technologies, product and service evaluation, visitor experience technology, energy usage initiatives, smart materials, plastic electronics, sustainable polymers and composites.
