Description

Cover Cropping for Clean Water, Biodiversity and Profitable Farming

Affinity Water and the Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group, working together, would like to invite you to a morning of discovery...

Cover cropping is increasing in popularity on farms in the UK, and has the potential to bring multiple benefits in terms of soil health and improved water quality.

Come and view the cover crop demonstration plots and hear about the latest in cover crop biology, agronomy and technology, to help you to grow cover crops successfully on your farm.

Dr Sarah Beynon, entomologist, Senior Research Associate at the University of Oxford, and founder of Dr Beynon’s Bug Farm will be exploring the complex relationships between the soil, plants and insects and investigating how cover cropping fits into the picture.
