Event Information
Description
Action for the River Kennet, North Wessex Downs, Kings, FWAG SE and Catchment Sensitive Farming, working together, would like to invite you to a morning event at Wexcombe looking at cover crops and blackgrass….
Come and view the cover crop demonstration plots and hear about the latest in cover crop biology, agronomy and technology, to help you to grow cover crops successfully on your farm. Your guides round the plots will be George Hosier (host farmer), Lee Ward (Kings) and Tim Clarke (FWAG SE)
Cover cropping is increasing in popularity on farms in the UK and has the potential to bring multiple benefits in terms of soil health and water quality. But might there be some trade-offs in terms of grass-weed control?
