love ayurveda tv is humbled, deeply honoured and overjoyed to receive the blessings of such an eminent Buddhist spiritual leader, the Venerable Geshe Dorji Damdul La. He is Director of Tibet House, the Cultural Centre of His Holiness the Dalai Lama. Geshe La has served as His Holiness's interpreter for several years and has worked on some of H.H. Dalai Lama's books.

We ask Ven. Geshe Dorji Damdul la, what is compassion and how can we become more compassionate? Empathy and compassion are needed more than ever during the coronavirus pandemic. Many millions of loved ones have lost their lives and many more are still suffering. COVID-19 has had an impact on all of us. Can compassion heal us and the planet as a whole? You will also have the opportunity to ask him questions directly on the subject.
The Ven. Geshe La, studied Buddhist Philosophy for many years and went on to receive a PhD from Drepung Loseling Monastic University. In 2003 at the direction and advice of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, he joined Cambridge University as a fellow in Girton College, Cambridge.
Ven. Geshe La remains actively involved in critical editing works with books of H.H. the Dalai Lama, both in English and Tibetan language. He is currently writing two influential books, one on “Journey into the Paradox of Brain and Mind” and the other “What Constitutes the Ontological Reality: The Effects of Understanding the Ultimate Reality.”
As Director of the prestigious Tibet House, Cultural Centre for H. H. Dalai Lama, his aim is to bring together the people across different disciplines, students and practitioners as well as the common people through various programmes and events. With growing interest in Buddhist teachings world over, Tibet House continues to expand its objectives in saving Tibet's heritage and in exploring and working towards a kinder and more caring society.

A Professor of The Dalai Lama Institute for Higher Education under Bangalore University and a visiting faculty of Delhi University and so forth, he is regularly invited to give lectures across the world to Universities and Institutes to teach Universal Ethics, Buddhist Philosophy, Psychology, Logic and Practice. One of the major highlights of his public addresses is lectures on Comparative Studies between Quantum Physics & Buddhist Philosophy on Ontological Reality. He also gives lectures on Comparative Studies of Neuroscience and Psychology.
