This two-part online course is for primary and secondary teachers looking to use the Covid-19 pandemic as a context for learning.

About this Event

Part 1: 27th October 2020, 16:15 - 17:45 and

Part 2: 10th November 2020, 16:15 - 17:45

Developed in partnership with Dr Richard Holme (Dundee University) and One World Centre Volunteer, Daisy Bews-Ivins (Abertay University), this 2 part course will look at how an exploration of Covid 19 can be used to develop literacy, numeracy and STEM learning. It will provide practical tools and methodologies for you to explore and make sense of the pandemic with your learners.

Once registered you will receive joining instructions for the online course. This course will be facilitated on behalf of the five Development Education Centres in Scotland, funded by the Scottish Government to provide no-cost high quality Professional Learning in LfS to educators across Scotland.
