About this Event
Eligibility and pre-requisites
- Access to laptop/device and Microsoft Teams https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/microsoft-365/microsoft-teams/download-app
- Experienced and competent vaccinators, registered practitioners
- Un-registered Healthcare Support Workers who have vaccinated within the past 12 months
- Registered Healthcare Practitioners (HCPs) who are either new to, or returning to vaccination after a prolonged period
This is a remote taught component delivered using Microsoft Teams to support your development of competence to deliver the Covid-19 vaccination programme.
Prior to any face to face client contact you will need to -
- Secure suitable practice supervision and assessment of competence
- Secure suitable indemnity (usually through your employer)
- Complete 'Basic Life Support and Anaphylaxis' training within the last 12 months
- Familiarise yourself with the key documents/Green Book COVID-19 chapter (14a) and the PHE ‘COVID-19 immunisation programme information for healthcare practitioners
