Cozy Sunday vibes - crafts and tea

Cozy Sunday vibes - crafts and tea

By Shika Otalu

Overview

Join us for a stitching session, making hanging decorations. Materials and tea included for a truly heartfelt session. Everyone is welcome!

Craft & Connection!

I invite you to take a break and create something unique that you could keep for yourself or give as a gift to a loved one. We will be making felt ornaments, with stitched details, ribbons and tassels. Can be a lovely item to add on the Christmas tree or just a decoration for a space you enjoy.

This will be a very relaxed Sunday morning, engaging with this ancient craft of hand sewing. The session is addressed to those who like to get creative or are maybe a little curious about stitching. It’s great if you have a minimum of experience with needles or at least general crafts.

As part of this journey, honouring the community we are part of and the sacredness of co-creation, you are invited to bring an item you wish to offer as a gift or to exchange with another participant. Please try to bring something practical and in good condition, pre-loved items are encouraged.

The workshop includes a short meditation, the craft session of 2 hours, and a gentle networking circle. Everyone is welcome, especially the diaspora community.

Please do your best to arrive on time.

Tickets are non-refundable, only transferable to a friend. If you are experiencing financial struggles, contact me at shikaotalu@gmail.com . Includes all materials, tea & creative guidance. 10% of profit is donated to I HEART AFRICA charity supporting children in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
