Capturing the new generation of volunteers.
Do you find it hard to attract the volunteers you need? Would you like to explore new ways of finding, supporting and keeping them? Good volunteers are at the heart of voluntary and community sector organisations, and are an essential part of delivering valuable services to the local community. But organisations frequently tell us that finding the right volunteers, supporting them effectively and retaining them are among the biggest challenges they face.
At the Capturing the new generation of volunteers Learning Lunch, you will:
- Learn about the do’s and don’ts of effective volunteer recruitment and support
- Explore finding volunteers from new places and in innovative ways
- Share good practice with your peers
- Leave equipped with new ideas and strategies for developing volunteers at your own organisation
- Network with colleagues over coffee and lunch
If a cancellation is received less than 48 hours prior to the event, refunds cannot be made and the full delegate fee will be payable.
This is part of a programme of training to support the growth and development of voluntary sector groups provided with funding by Crawley Borough Council.
CCVS is an independent charity bringing local voluntary organisations and community groups together in a strong, inclusive and supportive network. We offer professional advice, information and support and facilitate the sharing of news, knowledge and ideas across Crawley’s voluntary and community network. We work hard to understand your needs, and champion the network’s interests with local government and other statutory bodies as a powerful voice in growing and sustaining the voluntary sector.
We do this by providing: Information, Resources, Guidance, Support and Development, Liaison and Representation, and Training. Why not check out a short presentation that outlines our services
