A bilingual online session for secondary school leaders, governors and school council members with the Commissioner.

Summary:

Listening to young people and making sure they can participate in decisions that affect their lives gives young people ownership of their education. It means education settings can be sure they meet the priorities of learners, and it’s essential in ensuring young people are supported through challenges. The Children’s Commissioner for Wales has listened to over 7000 children and young people and over 350 professionals to find out what makes participation in secondary schools work. This free session gives decision-makers in secondary schools the chance to speak directly with the Commissioner and her team to discuss findings, share their own experiences, and develop key actions to prioritise participation in their setting.
