The Course follows the BACP curriculum for working with Children & Young People and consists of 435 hours of training made up of:

120 hours of taught modules

20 Hours of Personal Therapy

60 Hours of supervised placement hours working therapeutically with young people 11-18 (You can use your current employment if already working with young people.)

A case study, transcription and recording and 3 assignments.

Each taught day will be made up of a mixture of theory, experience, and reflection encouraging thorough engagement with material. Using peer support groups as part of the learning process will be included.


Fees:

£100 Administartion upon enrolement

The fee for our Level 5 Certificate is £1500*. Payment will be required only if offered a place to study, and you will have three options to pay the course fee:


  • Option A – one off payment of £1,500 (£369.00 Non-refundable)


  • Option B – 3 payments of £500.00 (1st payment must be made 6 weeks prior to course commencement of this £369.00 is Non-refundable deposit) 2 final payments of £500 to be paid 1st of month after course Commencement


  • Option C – £370.00 (Deposit payment must be made 6 weeks prior to course commencement) 4 payments of £282.50 to be paid 1st of month after course commencement


Entry requirements

You must have obtained our Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling or its equivalent.


Primary mode of study: Part-time, Weekends

Planned dates for course delivery:

Weekends 9.30am -4.30 - Thursdays - 5pm -9pm


Course Induction - 2nd of February 10am - 4pm


Sessions 1 and 2 - Sat 15th, Sun 16th and 27th February 2025

Sessions 3 and 4 - 22nd and 23rd March 2025

Sessions 5 and 6 - Thurs 10th , Sat 26th and Sun 27th April 2025

Sessions 6 and 7 - 24th and 25th May 2025

Sessions 8 and 9 - Thurs 12th, Sat 28th and Jun 29th June 2025

Tutorials and support through out July

Final Assesment hand in date 31st July
