The Competition Mapping course is designed to help teachers strategically plan and integrate competitive opportunities across the school year. This course guides educators in aligning intra- and inter-school competitions with the PE curriculum, school values, and student development goals.
Teachers will learn how to map out a balanced competition calendar that supports skill progression, inclusion, and engagement for all pupils, regardless of ability. The course also covers how to use competition as a tool to promote teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship, while meeting national curriculum and School Games objectives.
By the end of the course, teachers will be equipped to deliver a purposeful and inclusive competition framework that enhances the overall PE experience. Perfect for PE leads and teaching staff seeking to enhance their school’s competitive sport provision.
