Are you interested in exploring human rights issues with young children through pictures, discussion and debate?
This course will give you the skills and resources to enrich your teaching of SMSC (Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural) issues in your classroom and your school. Through looking at images and structured discussion activities it will give you the confidence to facilitate learning through enquiry with your students. It will also give you the opportunity to plan lessons with other teachers and to learn from Chickenshed inclusive theatre company. Chickenshed are running a large scale performing arts project inspired by the Amnesty book Dreams of Freedom. They are working with over 600 children using music, movement and theatre to bring children together and give them a voice.

We are charging a £10 deposit for this event which we can reimburse on the day.
