ABOUT CPD DAYS

Part of the LI's role is to ensure that the highest standards of professional competence and knowledge are upheld by its members. To this end, the LI Code of Conduct requires all corporate member to complete a minimum of 25 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) learning each year.

Due to popular demand, the Landscape Institute's CPD Days are back. The next LI CPD day will be on Tuesday 30 January 2018 at the Teacher Building in Glasgow, which is a few minutes' walk from Glasgow Central Station.

LI CPD days are an excellent and affordable way for LI members and landscape-related professionals to develop their professional knowledge and expertise. Our CPD days offer delegates a variety of sessions throughout the day, covering a wide range of subjects.

The cost of attendance includes lunch, tea/coffee, and networking opportunities. Registration opens at 8:30 am for a 9:30 am start (except for the site visit with Hardscape, which commences at 9 am) and the event closes at 5 pm.

BOOKING YOUR SESSION

The final timetable for the event will be available shortly.

CPD Days allow delegates to pick up to five sessions across the morning and afternoon. You will be asked to indicate your preferences for individual sessions a couple of weeks in advance of the event, so please make sure you check for updates that will be emailed to you giving the final timetable. Please make sure that you read the timetable and session summaries, before you complete the form.

Please note, you will be asked to choose a first, second and third choice for each time slot. This is because sessions may become over-subscribed. In this case we will place you on a waiting list for your preferred session but offer you your second or third choice in the meantime. It is recommended that you book early to avoid disappointment.

FAQs

I would like to attend but my employer requires an invoice - how do I book?

You will need to e-mail or post a purchase order form (please note, a purchase order number is not sufficient, we require the actual form) to events@landscapeinstitute.org with 'CPD Day Birmingham booking' in the subject line. Your place will be reserved and you will then be sent an invoice, as requested. Please note, no places will be reserved till the PO form has been received. If you are posting your form, please send it to Sabina Mohideen, Landscape Institute, 107 Grays Inn Road, London, WC1X 8TZ.
