Event description

Description

Please join us for a CPD day for homeowners and professionals on Craft Skills at Croxley Great Barn, Rickmansworth. The day will provide a case study-based introduction to building limes and timber framing, and will be equivalent to a day's CPD. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

The barn holds all that was considered dear to William Morris and the other founding members of the SPAB. Built in the spring of 1398, with oak trees felled in the Winter of 1397, it is a remarkable structure, Grade II* listed, and unchanged for many years, remaining relatively unaltered from the time of the Plantagenet Kings.
