Experienced counsellors know that the client on the spectrum finds any relationship a challenge, and relating to the counsellor is no exception. This one day interactive event will alert counsellors to the needs and thought processes of clients on the autistic spectrum and offer tips for improved practice and better outcomes with this group.

Felicity Rosslyn’s article, ‘On the Spectrum and in the Room’ appeared in Therapy Today, BACPs magazine for practitioners, June 2018. Felicity is a Relate couple and family counsellor, and is an accredited member of the BACP. She has a private practice which works with families affected by ASD, and supports children and teachers in primary schools. Felicity also runs ASD information sharing groups in Derbyshire.
