Event description
Curious Minds invites teachers and arts colleagues to join our series of bitesize CPD: upskilling beginners in the basics of online tools.

About this Event

In the past year, teachers and arts professionals alike have been required to dramatically adapt the delivery of their arts and cultural provision for the children and young people they work with.

With much of our lives moving online due to the pandemic, the education and arts sectors have not only had to learn how to use online delivery platforms, but also consider how lessons and workshops can still be delivered in an exciting and engaging way online.

In this series of bitesize online sessions for beginners, Curious Minds will share a number of flexible online tools that teachers and facilitators can incorporate into their delivery to increase engagment and interactivity with their young people when working online.

This session will introduce the 'Mentimeter' & 'Tricider' tools. We will explore what these online tools are, the features of the websites and how you can use these application during your online delivery or as a supporting online resource. This session will be 'hands on', giving you the opportunity to explore 'Mentimeter' & 'Tricider' in a safe and relaxed environment:

PLEASE NOTE: This session is intended to show attendees the basics of these tools and is only suitable for BEGINNERS.

Places are limited and are allocated on a 'first come first serve' basis. If this event has 'sold out' please do add yourself to the waitlist, or keep an eye out for future dates of this session.

This CPD is taking place online via Teams. Once you have reserved your place(s), please check your email for your Eventbrite confirmation. We will be in touch a few days before your event to provide you further information for your session and Teams link to join.
