Dr Sageet Amlani,

Consultant in Stroke Medicine

I completed my training in Oxford in 2004 and have sub-specialised in General internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Stroke medicine, taking my first consultant role in 2014.

I am currently the Network Lead for Stroke Services at Barts Health, where I also lead on performance and quality improvement as the Royal London Lead on the SNAP National Stroke Audit.

My NHS work entails leading on the delivery of Mechanical Thrombectomy and I sit on the Pan London steering group for this specialised intervention. I am also the research lead for stroke services at Barts Health.

My particular interests are in Hyperacute stroke care including TIA clinics and rehabilitation post stroke, as well as geriatrics and General Medicine.

My Private Practice is situated at the Stroke Unit, St John and St Elizabeth Hospital, where I accept inpatient and outpatient referrals.
