About this event

This event is planned because respondents to the Nottinghamshire Alliance Training Hub (NATH) Primary Care Training Needs Analysis (TNA) 2021/22 suggested the topic as a local training need.

We are pleased to invite you to this CPD event:

"Lipid Management within Primary Care "

Join us for the 1st of this five-part cardiology series on diagnosis and treatment pathways for patients within primary care.

This first event will focus on lipid management within primary care and is presented by NUH Lipid service lead Dr Peter Prinsloo.

  • Current guidance and underpinning evidence
  • Different treatment options available and optimising medications
  • Encouraging compliance and acceptability of medications

Throughout this interactive lunchtime CPD event, we will discuss:

Lipid management is a core skill for general practice but can be a mine field with changing guidance, QOF, different targets and initiatives as well as ensuring patient's compliance with medication to ensure effective primary and secondary prevention.
