Join us on Tuesday 4th November for an engaging and practical professional development course focused on developing pupils’ fundamental movement skills in object control.
Taking place from 13:30 to 15:30 at St Peter's Catholic Primary School, Sandy Lane, Doncaster (DN4 5EP), this session is led by Adam Burgin, Senior Sports Coach.
The Sending and Receiving course is designed to equip educators with the tools and strategies needed to effectively teach key motor skills including throwing, catching, kicking, striking, and receiving. Through hands-on activities and discussions, participants will explore ways to enhance coordination, timing, and spatial awareness in young learners.
Teachers will gain insights into assessing skill progression, adapting activities to suit different ability levels, and fostering inclusive and engaging environments that support participation and physical confidence.
Whether you're new to teaching PE or looking to refine your approach, this course will help you promote teamwork, confidence, and lifelong physical literacy in your students.
Cost: £30 per participant.
