Description

Promoting Domestic Violence Awareness Among Victims / Survivors

CPD Event for Counsellors

The purpose of this event is to equip professionals such as counsellors, social workers, etc. to work effectively with victims and survivors of domestic abuse and violence. With the use of materials from the ‘Passion for Change’ Domestic Violence Awareness Course, which has been used successfully at Voice for Change for many years.

If you are looking for an understanding to inform your own work with victims or survivors, or if you are likely to refer or signpost persons affected by domestic violence to Voice for Change, this course will be relevant to you as 1 in 4 women and 1 in 7 men are affected by domestic abuse in their lifetime.
