Description

The Society for Education and Training is a community of practitioners and professionals across the post-14 education sector. Local Network Groups (LNGs) are an opportunity for our members to meet face to face so that together, they can share and develop their practice.

The Bradford LNG meets three times a year. The March meeting will focus on:

  • Wellbeing (practitioners and learners) and

  • Characteristics of successful learners (a research case study)

Julie Warden leads the Bradford LNG. She is a member of the Practitioner Advisory Group and has mentored members both with career development and with QTLS and ATS. She has worked in further education for over 30 years and 3 Colleges in Yorkshire. Julie currently manages the tutorial provision at Bradford College. She describes her passion is that learners have a high quality experience that enhance their lives, ability to study and enables progression into employment and with life.
