CPD: Working therapeutically with domestic abuse and faith: training for counsellors and psychotherapists

Part 2 of 2

This CPD training for counsellors and psychotherapists will help develop competencies for working with victims/survivors of domestic abuse. In module 1 you will become familiar with a 5-stage framework for working therapeutically with domestic abuse. In module 2 you will learn a polyvagal-informed approach to working with domestic abuse and trauma, and working with domestic and spiritual abuse which has become internalised. It is recommended that this training follows on from the core training for helping professionals.
