Event description

Description

Emergency First Response courses starting in Scotland / Glasgow and in other European countries / cities on request!

Emergency First Response is the fastest-growing international CPR, AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) and First Aid Training Organisation. It encompasses adult, child and infant CPR and First Aid, Emergency First Response Primary Care and Secondary Care and Care for Children as well.

Therefore is a very comprehensive course, that not only teaches First Aid or CPR, but teaches you all the basics that you need in order to effectively handle life situations, let it be life threatening, minor or major injuries or even being able to respond to circumstances that might arise around a person who already has some kind of illness that he or she is dealing with on a daily basis.

Here is a concise overview what each part of the course consists of.

Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) teaches participants how to respond to life-threatening emergencies, such as heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke, a major accident, dealing with an unconscious person, just to name a few.

Emergency First Response Secondary Care (First Aid) covers injuries or illnesses that are not immediately life threatening, such as Injury Assessment, Illness Assessment, Bandaging, Splinting for Dislocations and Fractures.

The Emergency First Response Care for Children part teaches participants how to provide emergency care for injured or ill children (ages one to eight) and infants less than one year old. Participants learn about the types of medical emergencies that children face, and how they differ from adult conditions.

Besides all the above, there’s a bonus as well to the course. Anyone who signs up to do this course, we offer a completely new, separate part to this course which is learning how to use an AED, the Automated External Defibrillator.

Did you know, that on these modern days, you can find an AED at the more frequented places, such as shopping centres, cinemas, train and bus stations, ships, etc.

Unfortunately there are not a lot of people who know how to use this life saving machine which can mean the difference between being able to keep someone alive or not until the ambulance arrives.

Becoming trained as an Emergency First Responder should be on everyone’s priority list as this could mean saving someone’s life let it be a stranger or someone who is very close to your heart !

Either way, it’s worth it ! So let’s get going and save some lives !
