About this Event
The Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) course provides a basic knowledge and skill to assist someone that encounters an unresponsive (unconscious) casualty.
On completion of training, successful candidates will be able to
• Manage the incident
• State the priorities of first aid, including primary and secondary surveys
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• State when and how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
• All attendees will have the opportunity to develop practical skills and gain confidence to identify and deal with this type of incident
This session is free for staff employed by Primary Care Networks.
Please note that places are offered on a first come first served basis, however if your choice of date is fully booked please add your details to the waiting list and we will contact you if a place becomes available.
