The new community pharmacy contractual framework - why, what, how and when!

With the announcement of the new community pharmacy contract framework (CPCF), effective 1st October, there is much for pharmacies to do. We know it can feel overwhelming, after all, the day-job remains and we are moving into the busy winter period. However help is at hand with the next Academy series, supported by Deborah and Mike from local training company Pharmacy Complete.

Recognising how little time you have, we understand that you need to know that any time spent in the evening at an event must add significant value to what is important to you right now. We have therefore postponed the Self-Care Academy originally planned for November to help you find your way around the new CPCF requirements. We will help you sift through what you need to focus on and by when, as well as share tips and practical advice.

This is a not to be missed Academy to ensure you know:

• why delivery of the CPCF is critical for community pharmacy’s future
• what has changed and what has not:
• short summary of key elements
• priorities
• timeline
• how to plan and implement delivery (workshop session and shared learning and ideas)
• PQS - quick summary with a hand out (Alison Freemantle summary) and revisit importance of local collaboration and engagement
• MURs - deliver while we have it to maximise income and benefits with focus on the 2 targets
• NMS - embed in practice and utilise TCAM
• CPCS - key elements
• the key enablers
• workforce and delegation
• engagement with others
• premises/environment

We will ensure you go away with plenty of practical advice and can participate in interactive, engaging sessions.

All roles are invited – getting your team involved in delivery is as important as knowing what do to as the pharmacist/manager.

The meeting will commence with hot two course meal at 6:30pm, for a 7:15pm start. We will finish at 9:30pm.

This event is FREE to attend and includes a two course hot meal and refreshments.
