Conference Description:

The Child Protection Special Interest Group (CPSIG) is pleased to announce this national learning event on topics relevant to both general and community paediatricians regarding child protection and safeguarding aspects of their work.

Safeguarding and child protection can be a daunting experience hence this conference will give ample opportunity for networking with colleagues and to hear from eminent speakers.

Registration:

  • Early-bird:                   £95                  (by 15th September 2019)
  • Standard rate:             £150                (16th September 2019 to 15th October 2019)
  • Late registration:         £200                (after 16th October 2019 - last day to register 3rd November)


Conference Objectives:

  1. To facilitate shared learning
  2. To discuss complex safeguarding issues
  3. To provide an opportunity for networking
  4. To encourage trainee participation

  1. Paediatricians undertaking Child Protection work (Community and Acute)
  2. Named & Designated Doctors
  3. Trainees (Paediatric, GP, and Nursing)
  4. Nurses: Named, Designated and general paediatric nurses and Nurse Practitioners
  5. Accident & Emergency Doctors and Nurses


Accreditation
:

This conference is organised by the Child Protection Special Interst Group (CPSIG), a special interest group of the British Association for Community Child Health (BACCH) and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (RCPCH). It will count towards Level 3 plus Child Protection training.
