About this event
Who should attend: New and existing adult social care staff and other health/primary care staff who wish to know more about the CQC's proposed single assessment framework changes, hot topics and the how to prepare for the inspection process. New Registered Managers, Care assistants, Support Workers, Case Managers and Team Leaders who would like a refresher on the importance of continuous quality improvement and inspection.
This introduction compliance event covers:
- An introduction to the CQC who are they and what do they do
- Why inspections are important for safe care
- The new proposed single assessment framework
- CQC Strategy and key areas of importance/recent developments
- An introduction to the five key questions and regulations, including some of the most breached regulations.
- Good and poor examples of CQC compliance
Top tips for inspection success
The event will be a socially distanced, in a well ventilated and large, spacious room with patio doors opening onto the garden. All attendees will be encouraged to take a Lateral Flow Test on the day of the event, prior to attending the venue. (mask wearing will also be encouraged)

About Georgina Turner
Georgina runs her own Healthcare Compliance Consultancy business - ‘Inspired for Health’ providing mock regulation compliance inspections, cultural reviews and one to one support for adult social care providers. She has been working in healthcare for over 30 years giving her a wealth of practical as well as strategic knowledge and experience from the front line and beyond.
After completing her Nursing Diploma, Law Degree and Masters She supported CCG’s, Community, Foundation & Acute Trusts on a variety of topics including: CQC Compliance with Regulations, Nurse Staffing, Consent, Governance and Quality Monitoring. She currently works in Primary Care and within the independent hospital sector supporting teams with Governance and regulatory compliance.
Georgina has also worked in the NHS as a Risk Manager, Claims and Litigation Manager, Quality Programme Manager, Information Governance Manager, District Nurse and Acute Medical Nurse as well as within Nursing Home and Domiciliary Care settings. She has also gained nearly 10 years experience in healthcare quality and audit.
This will be a lively webinar, with an opportunity to ask questions and reflect on the changes as well as current practice. It will be ideal for those who may be involved in a CQC inspection and for all leads within adult social care settings.
