About this event

  • 1 hour

Do you want to know more about setting up your KLOE folders to hold your evidence on your desktop PC/laptop? To hold all your evidence in relation to collecting emails, Word docs, Excel docs, scanned in forms and lots more - to match against the new Single Assessment Framework Quality Statements?

We will show you how to have a folder for each: SAFE / EFFECTIVE / CARING / RESONSIVE / WELL LED.

As an example within the SAFE folder you will have sub folders for areas like:

• Compliments

• Policies

• Audit of your medicines management

• Infection control evidence

• Staff training on safeguarding

• Safe recruitment processes

• Risk assessment evidence

• Evidence of safe staff levels

• Evidence of safe handovers between staff shifts

• Notifications folder evidencing any safeguarding issues

• Observations of carers/support workers giving medication to clients

You will get to see what items can be collected in all the KLOE folders to match against the Quality Statements, in readiness for your inspection.

You will be provided with a prompt spreadsheet to look at what evidence you already have, so that a gap analysis can highlight what areas you are missing and what you need to concentrate on.

We will also look at the 6 Evidence Categories and how we use our evidence collected to match against these six categories:

• People's experience of health and care services

• Feedback from staff and leaders

• Feedback from partners

• Observation

• Processes

• Outcomes

This is an ideal webinar for providers of adult social care, e.g. those in domiciliary care and case management, getting to grips with the deluge of information around evidence gathering, ready for the new Single Assessment Framework.
