CQI London - The changing face of management systems audit
Thu 27 April 2017, 18:30 – 20:30 BST
The April event of the CQI London Branch will look at the changing face of management systems audit. This session will be led by Richard Green of KCS Ltd.
At the beginning of 2017 changes were made to two key auditor standards - ISO 17021-3, which details the requirements for certification body QMS auditors; and ISO 19011, which provides guidance on auditing management systems.
These changes will impact all those who implement, manage and audit quality managment systems.
Come along prepared for a unique insight to the development of these standards, and a lively debate about the implications for the quality and certification body industries!
Light refreshments will be available from 18:00 hrs so please come along to meet and network with your peers.
Please note that this event is limited to CQI members and IRCA auditors only.
About the speaker
As an individual working directly on the refresh of these two standards, and as an auditor who holds strong personal views about where the profession needs to go, Richard Green will outline the implications of the developments to date for the audit community.
Prior to establishing KCS, Richard was the technical lead for the CQI. Though now independent, Richard continues to provide high level technical support to the CQI and IRCA brands under contract. He also chairs the CQI Standards Panel and represents the CQI on UK and international committees redrafting ISO Management System and Audit Standards.
