Description

CQI Milton Keynes Branch is delighted to welcome Paul Hardiman, Director of Quality Partner Limited to our September event.

Paul has been involved in the IATF 16949 scheme since 1999 and has trained and qualified most of the IATF 3rd party auditors working in the UK.

He is still the subject matter expert for SMMT in the UK and IAOB in the USA, as well as being a qualified witness auditor and VDA 6.3 auditor.

For the September event, Paul will provide an overview of the updated FMEA manual and developments with the automotive QMS certification scheme IATF 16949 including:

  • A update on the IATF scheme
  • Has the IATF initiative worked in improving quality?
  • Is the 3rd party auditor qualification process effective?
  • What are common findings in IATF audits?
  • An overview of the new German/USA harmonised approach to understanding Risk using FMEA
  • Plan for the future scheme development

Whether you are from the automotive industry or not, this gives an ideal chance to benchmark with another industry approach to try to improve the effectiveness of deployment of a quality management systems and the associated 3rd party certification process.
