Our speaker for the evening is Richard Allan, Director of Global Quality Assurance at Kimberly Clark and Board of Trustee member of the CQI.
Learn how Kimberly-Clark are using ISO 9001 as a framework for their approach to Quality Assurance and their thoughts on 3rd party certification. Get a glimpse of their use of 1st and 2nd party supplier audits to control a crucial supply chain as well as hear about how Kimberly-Clark are reacting to customer complaints in the age of social media. Richard will also discuss their approach to building skills and experience in their Quality Management professionals around the globe.

Richard first got exposed to Quality Management at Kodak Ltd and it seems it was something that he’s passionate about having spent the last 27 years in Kimberly-Clark holding positions of increasing responsibility and importance to their operation:
- Factory quality manager (disposable diaper manufacturing)
- Quality Leader for two European businesses (Baby Care Products and Tissue Products),
- Quality Leader for Middle-east & Africa Region,
- Quality Leader Consumer Products outside of Nth America
- Currently Director of K-C’s Global Quality Team and the K-C Quality Council.
